Museum Kids Saturday Workshops

Starting this February Kansas City Museum’s extensive collection is featured in Museum
Kids Saturday Workshops. Young participants will get to see rare and unusual items and do hands-on activities focused on what they’ve seen. Learning and fun go perfectly together in this new series focused on the City’s history.

April 2: Piecework Quilting
Explore the artistry and creative patterns and shapes of quilts. Quilts have been used over centuries to tell their family histories and stories and have been passed down from family member to family member. See beautifully crafted quilts with quilt historian and author Deb Rowden, and learn to make a quilt.
