KC Baseball History Trolley Tours

As baseball’s midsummer game comes to Kansas City, explore the evolution of baseball in KC with former National Baseball Hall of Fame and Library Senior Research Associate Lloyd Johnson. Tour-goers will pass the site of the Muehlebach and later, Municipal Stadium and KC’s many other historic baseball sites. They will also hear about famous players who lived or played in Kansas City, including Casey Stengel, Phil Rizzuto, Leroy “Satchel” Paige, Bert Campaneris, George Brett and the many teams that called Kansas City home.
